Can hardly wait any longer to update you of the latest development of HEMO-bandage with US army. The trial on HEMO-bandage (or HEMO-fiber in Europe) by US Army Institute of Surgical Research (USAISR) under Army Medicine in Texas has been very promising. All samples of HEMO-bandage were proved by US army to achieve immediate hemostasis in animals without critical coagulopathy.

The trial was conducted by Dr. Kheirabadi in full compliance with his
protocol
for US army internal evaluation
.  It is the very first time for US army tests HEMO-bandage.  HEMO-bandage clearly stanched the arterial bleeding at first check ( 3 minutes) for both two normal pigs.
The result were very encouraging.
The impressive hemostatic efficacy is consistent to the findings by Dr. and MD Reva from Russian army in St. Petersburger. In his trial, HEMO-bandage was the only one that could stanch bleeding of 3 pigs out of the five tested with only pack of dressing.  Our product save lives under enemy fire.

After this preliminary trial, the army would conduct a large scale one soon. This is especially critical after a Polish paper [Adamiak et al., 2016] has raised the concerns of safety
on
Combat Gauze, Celox Gauze and Chito Gauze that all impregnate
the hemostatic agent on the fabric. The Polish study reported not only detected the trace of mineral or chitosan in lung and vessel, but also observed shock syndrome in heart, liver, kidney and lung of those pigs after the long application. This is spooky.
Time to seriously consider
switching
to HEMO-bandage(fiber) before too late for your fellow soldiers.
