“Coreleader” Algi-White is a soft, white, and absorbent wound dressing made of medical-grade calcium alginate, a natural polysaccharide featuring remarkable absorbency and biocompatibility. It is capable to absorb exudates 10 times the body weight and control mild hemorrhage with its richness of calcium cation, a crucial factor in blood coagulation (for more details). It can be the solution for patients with hemostasis problem after dialysis (see video). After absorbing exudates, “Coreleader” Algi-White becomes gel that keeps wound moist and favorable for tissue healing (see animal study). Besides, it has anti-bacterial effect (see more details). Even in the gel form, “Coreleader” Algi-White remains strong one piece due to the high proportion of guluronic acid monomer (G-bonds). Therefore, it is easy to remove it from wounds without causing secondary injury. “Coreleader” Algi-White lasts for 3-5 days on the wound, which helps to reduce cost and labor for frequent changing. Algi-White can be provided in various sizes to treat wounds up to 200 cm². Right now, “Coreleader” Algi-White has both CE marking and U.S. FDA 510(k).
