Coreleader Colla-Algi Fiber Wound Dressing is fabricated by a patented spinning process to produce a unique biopolymer fiber incorporating collagen and alginate substrates. Colla-Algi dressing provides the wound healing advantages of both collagen and alginate in a cost-effective manner. In contact with wound fluids, Colla-Algi dressing forms a hydrophilic gel that provides intimate contact with the wound surface, absorbs excess exudate, and maintains an ideal moist wound healing environment. The collagen component of Colla-Algi dressing is primarily type I. The gentle Calcium Alginate gel formed over the wound bed is easily removed with a proper saline wash.
